Director of Sales, Northeast Region

Location: Based in the Northeast (New York, NY, Philadelphia, PA, Boston, Mass)

Our client’s sales team is a tightly knit group of individuals responsible for managing their own book of business.  We call on the country’s top advertising agencies and advertisers. Our client’s Regional Directors build solid long-term relationships with their clients, which leverage our 78-year history.  They have reputations for being the ‘go-to contacts’ for non-traditional advertising expertise. Our Beep! And Ivy Pixel networks are the only “diagonal” networks currently offered focusing on specific verticals with a horizontal site lists to capture users most likely to consider a product before they’re shopping process even starts.  This allows our sales team to provide their clients with a unique value proposition differentiating us from competitors.

Compensation and Appreciation:

-            Base salary

-            Un-capped, generous commission plan

Who We’re Looking For:

-            5+ years of advertising/digital sales experience

-            Strong knowledge of the automotive and/or political/advocacy categories

-            Understanding of media math (CPM, GRP/TRP, etc.)

-            Familiar with Salesforce.com

-            Provide forecasting information to management

-            Established contacts and proven success with agencies and advertisers within the East Coast territory

-            Ability to work independently

-            Self-starter with a ‘roll up your sleeves’ mentality

-            Ability to work with the internal teams to solve problems

-            Solid grasp of interactive media, including various pricing models, targeting technologies, and ad serving

-            Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

-            Expert at time management

-            Bachelor’s degree

Preferred But Not Required

-            Experience in the automotive and/or political /advocacy categories

-            Experience in interactive and/or direct response marketing
